The customers of SEB Bank can now use Apple Pay contactless payment
The service is available for all SEB Bank’s Mastercard cards on iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac.
SEB is the fourth largest bank in Estonia to receive Apply Pay support after LHV, Swedbank and Luminor. Of the largest banks, only Coop Bank does not support Apple Pay.
SEB Bank has 400,000 active private and business customer bank cards that now have Apply Pay support.
There are two ways to add your SEB Bank card to your Apple Wallet: • Go to the card section in the SEB app and click “Add to Apple Wallet”. •You can also add your card through the Wallet app by clicking “Add to wallet”.
To make a contactless payment, simply hold your iPhone or Apple Watch near the payment terminal. All Apple Pay purchases are secure and verified by Face ID, Touch ID or device password and a one-time unique dynamic security code. The Apple Pay payment solution is accepted wherever contactless payment is accepted.
A representative of SEB Bank said that Garmin Pay and Fitbit Pay contactless payments will also soon be available for the bank’s customers. However, SEB is currently not ready to provide additional information about plans regarding Google Play. Currently, users of Android phones can make contactless payments by activating the feature in the SEB Bank’s Android app.
