Second-generation quick release plate design
DJI RS 4 facilitates camera installation and balancing thanks to familiar two-tiered quick release plates. The horizontal plate has been redesigned, allowing for quicker transitions to natural vertical shooting. The fine-tuning knob adjusts the tilt axis, moving the camera forwards or backwards. Clear alignment guides have been added to the top plate to determine the camera's correct placement.

RSA communication port
The RSA port enables integration of accessories from the Ronin series with the gimbal configuration. Add Ronin-specific or third-party accessories with control capabilities to switch between different filming configurations. The DJI RS SDK protocol allows third parties and other developers to create customized functions for the RS 4 in the future.

Integrated control buttons
Simply slide the new gimbal mode switch to switch between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow, and FPV modes. The FPV mode selection can also be customized to 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom modes, allowing equipment setup quickly and starting as soon as possible. Other intelligent features include motion lapse, tracking, and panorama. The trigger button can be customized for FPV mode, causing the three-axis tracking handle to move in the direction when held down.

Fourth-generation RS stabilization algorithm
Equipped with a new-generation stabilization algorithm, the DJI RS 4 provides better stability than the RS 3, effortlessly managing vertical filming, fast movements, and low-angle shots.

Enhanced battery and fast charging
The DJI RS 4 battery grip features a cassette design, making battery replacement easier and storage more compact. The battery can also be charged separately from the gimbal. The new battery grip offers extended working time up to 12 hours, sufficient for continuous filming throughout the day. It supports 18W PD fast charging, with a charging time of just 2.5 hours. It can even be used while charging, keeping the RS 4 almost endlessly operational.
