Description

Two operating modes
The P100 can be used for door and window open/close monitoring or for more advanced object state monitoring. One mode can be active at a time, allowing the sensor to be adapted to a specific application. Advanced object monitoring is available via Zigbee with a compatible Aqara hub and the Aqara Home app.


Door and window status detection
The sensor can detect the opening and closing of hinged doors and different types of windows. It can also be used to monitor refrigerators, safes and similar objects. Its single-piece design eliminates the need to precisely align two separate magnetic sensor components, providing greater flexibility during installation.


Versatile object monitoring
In Zigbee mode, the P100 can detect movement, tilt, vibration, drops and object orientation, as well as triple-tap actions. This makes it suitable for monitoring drawers, safes and other movable objects or for triggering smart home automations when a specific action is detected.


Zigbee, Thread and Matter
The P100 supports both Zigbee and Thread connectivity. In Thread mode, Matter enables integration with compatible smart home ecosystems such as Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings and Home Assistant. A compatible Matter Controller and Thread Border Router are required, while the more advanced object-monitoring features are available in Zigbee mode with an Aqara hub.


Adjustable sensitivity
Ten sensitivity levels allow the sensor to be fine-tuned for different installation locations and objects. In object monitoring mode, the reporting interval can also be adjusted from 5 seconds to 5 minutes, helping balance responsiveness and battery consumption.


Smart calibration
The P100 can calibrate itself according to its installation angle, establishing an accurate reference position for detecting subsequent changes. Aqara algorithms compensate for small sensor deviations over time, helping maintain reliable detection and reduce unwanted notifications.


Long battery life
Efficient power management allows the P100 to operate for up to two years with a single CR2450 battery under specified test conditions. This reduces the need for frequent battery replacement and makes the sensor suitable for long-term smart home monitoring.


Kit with protective cover
The Multi-State Sensor P100 Kit includes the P100 sensor, two adhesive mounts, a user manual and a protective cover. The protective cover provides additional physical protection for the sensor and makes the kit a complete solution for indoor installation.
