Description

Eight individually controlled charging slots
Each of the eight charging slots is controlled independently, allowing the batteries to be charged individually. The charging process starts automatically when the box is connected to a power source via USB-C, while separate LED indicators provide information about the charging status of each channel.

2000 mAh rechargeable AA batteries
The included AA Li-Ion batteries provide a capacity of 2000 mAh. Lithium-ion technology offers high energy density and does not suffer from the memory effect associated with some older rechargeable battery technologies, making the batteries suitable for convenient repeated use.

Charging and storage in one box
The compact box serves both as a charger and as convenient storage for the batteries. Its magnetic closure keeps the rechargeable batteries securely inside and helps protect them during storage or transport, making the complete set easy to keep organised at home or take along when travelling.

Built-in charging protection
The charging system detects defective and non-rechargeable batteries and prevents them from being charged. Thermal protection helps protect against overheating, while reverse-polarity and short-circuit protection contribute to safer everyday operation.

Fast USB-C charging
The charging box uses a USB-C connection and supports a 5 V/3 A input with a maximum output power of 12 W. Depending on the number of batteries inserted, a full charging cycle takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.

Low self-discharge
The rechargeable batteries are designed with low self-discharge, helping them remain ready for use during periods of storage. For maintaining good battery performance during longer periods without use, Hama recommends recharging the batteries every six months.

Complete rechargeable battery set
The package includes the charging box, eight rechargeable AA Li-Ion batteries and a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. This provides a complete solution for replacing frequently used disposable AA batteries with a reusable alternative.
