Description

An adventure built for two
Orbitals is designed from the ground up around asymmetric two-player co-op. Each character has unique tools and abilities, requiring both players to communicate, coordinate their actions, and work together to solve puzzles, overcome hazards, and progress through the adventure.


Explore beyond the cosmic storm
Maki and Omura must leave the safety of their home and explore the unknown beyond the Storm Wall. Players pilot their ship through dangerous asteroid fields, investigate mysterious abandoned stations, encounter unusual creatures and characters, and tackle environmental challenges that can only be overcome through teamwork.


Classic anime-inspired presentation
The game recreates the warmth and visual character of classic Japanese anime with hand-crafted cinematic cutscenes produced by Studio Massket. An original soundtrack complements the retro-inspired presentation, while extensive voice acting brings the characters and story to life.


Play together locally or online
Two players can experience the adventure together using local split-screen or online play. Nintendo Switch 2 GameShare supports both local and online sharing, allowing another player to join the experience, while the Orbitals Global Friend's Pass provides another way for a friend to join the complete online co-op adventure when one player owns the full game.


Designed around communication and teamwork
Puzzles and environmental obstacles require more than simply having a second player alongside you. Each explorer contributes different abilities, making cooperation essential for opening new paths, avoiding dangers, and progressing through unfamiliar locations.
