Automatic programmes
How long does the rice take? How about the vegetables? When cooking with automatic programmes, you don't have to select the temperature or the duration – your appliance will take care of everything to make life easier for you. Do you prefer your carrots with a bit more bite? You can specify the degree of cooking for many types of food.
Sous-vide cooking
Even and gentle: you can cook food in Miele steam ovens using the sous-vide method. This involves cooking things like fish, meat, fruit or vegetables gently and at low temperatures over a prolonged period of time. The results are incredibly aromatic and flavourful. The food retains its appearance, shape, vitamins and minerals.
DualSteam
Perfection to suit your taste: the Miele steam oven is the ideal complement to the oven and hob and ensures best cooking results. Fast heat-up times and cooking durations as well as even steam distribution make it easier for you to prepare food – this is made possible with a powerful external steam generator (3.3 kW) and the special positioning of two DualSteam steam inlets.
Linen-finish stainless steel oven compartment
Ample space, fast cleaning: the stainless steel oven compartment has a usable capacity of up to 40 litres and can therefore accommodate large cooking containers – for example, for whole chickens or fish. This means you can cook complete menus for 8 to 10 people – with more freedom and convenience. As well as providing ample space, the oven compartment is completely rustproof and very easy to clean.
Everything in one appliance
The 3-in-1 principle gives you three functions in just one appliance. This means you can prepare delicious dishes even if you have limited kitchen space. The steam cooking function can be used to cook food gently, while the microwave function is perfect for popcorn, for example. Quick & Gentle
With this technology the microwave power is infinitely variable from 300 W to 1000 W. This means the total time required for defrosting and cooking is reduced and ensures that food is cooked just the way you like it. This is made possible by the innovative inverter technology – for faster, tastier results in day-to-day cooking.
Popcorn button
What would a good film be without popcorn? With our automatic popcorn programme, you can make delicious microwave popcorn at home at the press of a button. Times and wattages are tailored to a 100 g packet of microwave popcorn.
External steam generation
Innovative steam system: the steam generator in our appliances is located outside the oven compartment. During the cooking process, the incoming steam completely fills the oven compartment and displaces the oxygen. This results in fast heating and optimum temperature measurement and preserves the natural colour of the food. And because limescale cannot build up in the oven compartment, cleaning is particularly easy.
Automatic keeping warm function
At the end of the cooking time, food is automatically kept warm for up to 15 minutes without loss of quality. So it does not matter if you are a few minutes late.
