Switching OFF is automatic after 2 minutes, which significantly saves battery, which is part of the supply. Indicators warn to overloading and early also to low battery charge level.

The legs of the scale are arranged brainlessly. The first side on which you do things (turning on, zeroing, etc.) has the feet inside of the scale, and as soon as you press the active button a little harder, the back end of the scale rises and lands with a splash back on the work surface. On the back side, the legs are nicely in the outer corners. And this is quite a disturbing nuance.
