Dear Maiia, thank you for a feedback! The Philips toothbrush has three different modes which can be used on your preference - "Clean", "White", "Gum". Clean mode is better for overall cleanliness and healt of your teeth. White is a best mode for cleaning plaque from teeth and "Gum" mode suits better for a very gentle clean or a gum massage.
