Particularly with regard to my copy, the story that the promising description of “Dual 6.5-inch HyperBass driver for exceptionally powerful low frequency range” did not hold true. Regardless of which EQ position is selected, the bass is still woefully lacking compared to the midrange and treble. The bass elements hardly move at all, the inverter tube also pumps quite modestly :D
Even the smaller JBL copies sound significantly better and make the floor shake than this one, which is still very strange considering the size and promised power. Kids would be more suited to singing karaoke and listening to stories. They are loud for the money, but as a party box they are still pretty damn thin, even for a small room.
Konkreetselt minu isendiga see lugu, et paljulubav kirjeldus "Kahekordne 6,5-tolline HyperBassi draiver erakordselt võimsa madala sagedusala jaoks" ei pidanud küll paika. Olenemata mis EQ asend on valitud, siis madalatest sagedustest on ikka roppu moodi puudust tunda võrreldes keskmiste ja kõrgetega. Bassielemendid vaevu liiguvad ja invertertorust samuti suht tagasihoidlikult pumpab :D
Isegi kordi väiksemad JBLi isendid teevad oluliselt paremat matsu ja panevad põranda värisema kui see isend, mis on ikka väga kummaline arvestades mõõte ja väljalubatud võimsusi. Kõlbabki pigem lastele karaoke jorisemiseks, muinasjuttude kuulamiseks. Selle raha eest kärab neile küll, aga partyboxina on see ikka paganama lahja, isegi väiksemasse tuppa.
